Over the next few weeks, we have lots of great improvements coming to Highland Bluff Studio. We wanted to take a few minutes to tell you a little about them. We are constantly striving to improve what we have to offer, and we are so grateful for your continued business and support.
Relaunch of Our Glass Candles
A Truly Re-usable Jar
Throughout the last year, our most common not-so-positive feedback was around the desire to have a more permanent application of the design on our glass candle jar. We heard you! Around mid-October, we will be relaunching our glass candles to offer you a longer-lasting, more durable glass candle jar.
Here's what to expect:
- a new 14oz double old-fashioned drinking glass jar
- a re-invented wood lid with a straight edge and black rubber ring
- designs that are screen printed and that are microwave/dishwasher safe
- more durable candle packaging
- re-designed packaging labels
In essence, our hope is that you will keep your glass to use as a drinking class or find some creative way to display it along with your other nerdish items. We wanted the glass to truly be re-usable once you have finished burning your candle. Over time, we plan to introduce new designs as sets so that you will be able to collect Highland Bluff glasses with your favorite designs.
Retiring the Current Designs
We will be completely retiring the current glass jar candles and packaging over the next couple of weeks. With this, we will be permanently removing many of the designs. We will release previous designs, along with newer designs, as soon as they are available. Retiring a collection now does not means that it's gone forever, it just means it may be some time before new designs are introduced. We'll be releasing new fandoms as well.
Update to Scent Offerings
We wanted very badly to be able to offer the flexibility of mix and match listings for scents and designs. However, doing so has made it very difficult for us to manage inventory and get your orders to you as quickly as possible. After much deliberation, we have decided to offer one scent per design. In some cases, a scent will be used for multiple designs but our goal is to get to where each design has a unique scent. You can expect more scent variations as travel tins and room sprays. Also, throughout some parts of the year, we will take custom orders where you will have the ability to request a particular scent for the design.
